So Netflix premièred the first teaser trailer of its original series “Fuller House,” the long-awaited sequel of ABC’s hit series “Full House” from the 80’s and 90’s. And yes, it was cheesy as all hell.
The series stars original cast mates Candace Cameron-Bure (DJ Tanner), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey), Andrea Barber (Kimmy), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Lori Loughlin (Becky), and Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), but no Olson twins (Michelle Tanner).
Apparently, in a morbid twist, it’s now DJ’s husband who has kicked the bucket and DJ is now left to raise her two sons – and of course she won’t raise them alone! Why? Because her sister and best friend are moving in to help her! Yay! Sound family and oddly dyslexic?
In the original “Full House”, it was Danny Tanner who lost his wife in a car accident and was left to raise his three young daughters alone, so he gets his best friend and brother-in-law to move it, because apparently no one has a life of their own and is willing to raise children that are not theirs. Sure, thing.
The show premires on Netflix on February 26, 2016. And we except a crap load more corniness.
